been dedicated to freeing women from the Barbie Doll Beauty Myth -- the
unattainable aspiration to be tall, thin, perfectly proportioned, and
forever young.

Nancy came to image consulting as part of her own journey to look and
feel good in her own plump, five-foot tall body. She understands how
fashion and beauty myths often keep women from feeling good about how they
look. She dispels the Barbie Doll Myth by teaching that no matter what
age, shape or size a woman is, she can look "visually pleasing," by
understanding and using some simple easy-to-learn techniques.
She brings a depth of background to her work, blending skills developed
as a teacher, professional photographer, Licensed Clinical Social Worker,
and psychotherapist. Nancy enjoys hearing about all the compliments
her clients get, but her greatest satisfaction is seeing a woman's
self-confidence soar, when she applies what she has learned to create on a
look that reflects her "true self."
